Twin Studio provides a series of pre-installed and pre-configured workstations with software licensed and ready to use. Twin Studio currently supports three applications:

Studio 5000 Logix Designer

: This is a controller-centric programming package. It can help you organize hardware and control code. Studio 5000 Logix Designer lets you open projects in the cloud using the IDE for Control Logix and the Compact Logix controller family, version 20 and above. The application includes FactoryTalk Echo which allows you to emulate 5580 Controllers with Version 33 and above.

Emulate 3D

: Simulate your projects using the latest version of Emulate 3D. Emulation 3D is used to verify the behavior of control systems they are connected to under various operating conditions. Use Emulate 3D for:

Throughput analysis
Machine prototyping
Virtual commissioning
Operator training systems

Arena:

Improve processes and reduce risk by performing discrete event simulation on your large and complex processes with Arena® Simulation software. Use Arena to help define objectives, identify input and output data requirements, build models, validate and verify models, and try out new ideas and adjust the virtual system before implementing changes to your project.

FactoryTalk® Logix Echo:

  Collaboratively test and troubleshoot emulated code without target hardware in real time.
