Configure alarm widgets

After you add alarm manager and alarm summary to your project, you need to configure the widgets.
  1. In
    Project View
    unlock
    AlarmManager (type)
    and adjust widget layout, model, and logic.
  2. In
    AlarmManager (type)
    AlarmWidgetEditModel
    FiltersConfiguration
    , for any alarm filters that you want accessible for the widgets, select
    True
    .
  3. In
    AlarmManager (type)
    AlarmWidgetEditModel
    FilterSettings
    , for any alarms enabled in 2 that you want active, select
    True
    .
  4. (Optional) In
    Project View
    Unlock
    AlarmSummary (type)
    and adjust widget layout, model, and logic.
  5. In
    AlarmSummary (type)
    AlarmWidgetEditModel
    FiltersConfiguration
    , for any alarm filters that you want accessible for the widgets, select
    True
    .
  6. In
    AlarmSummary (type)
    AlarmWidgetEditModel
    FilterSettings
    , for any alarms enabled in 5 that you want active, select
    True
    .
  7. In
    Project View
    select
    UI
    AlarmWidget Components
    and:
    1. In
      AlarmWidgetsFilters (type)
      adjust the filters window parameters.
    2. In
      AlarmWidgetsTimedShelve (type)
      adjust the max time shelve duration and preset time shelve duration.
    3. In
      AlarmWidgetsViewDetail (type)
      adjust the information that displays in the Alarm Details view at runtime.
      TIP: view by default displays all avaqilable Alarm information. You can remove elements from this view, if you do not require them. For example, if you do not want the Details view to display tags, in
      Project
      view you can select all Tags under
      AlarmDetails
      and delete them.
    4. In
      AlarmSummaryButton (type)
      , adjust the properties of all Alarm Summary widget buttons.
    5. In
      AlarmManagerButton (type)
      , adjust the properties of all Alarm Manager widget buttons.
    For all Alarm Widget Components, you can also adjust the layout. For example, you can modify button names, placement, sizes and background colors.
    TIP: Check box size for filters screen for all widgets is optimized for touch screens. To adjust check box size for screen and mouse use:
    • In
      Project View
      , go to
      UI
      DefaultStyleSheet
      and for
      Properties\Control Styles\CheckBox styles\Default
      change
      Indicator size
      from
      Auto
      to
      18
    • In
      Project View
      , go to
      Alarm Widgets
      AlarmWidgetComponents
      FilterCheckbox (type)
      and adjust
      Properties\Size and layout\Height
      to
      18
