Export a FactoryTalk Optix Application

Export a
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 to deploy the application to client devices that are not accessible in the network.
  1. Select the arrow next to
    Save
     to open the drop-down menu and then select
    Export
    FactoryTalk Optix Application
    .
  2. In the dialog, complete:
    • Platform
      . Select the operating system of the client device.
    • Location
      . Type the path to the location where you want to save the
      FactoryTalk Optix Application
      . Alternatively, select the folder icon to browse to the folder.
      TIP: A folder can only contain one
      FactoryTalk Optix Application
      . Each
      FactoryTalk Optix Application
       must use a separate folder.
  3. (optional) If available, fill
    Password
     to password-protect the exported application.
    The exported application is encrypted. You will be prompted to enter the password when importing the application to the client device.
  4. Select
    Export
    .
A progress window displays while the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 is being exported. After the export has completed, a dialog appears to inform you that the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 was successfully exported to the location specified.
