View changes to a project

View the committed changes of the open project by viewing the project history.
In
Version history
,
Local history
 represents a change that is committed to the local repository and
Remote history
 represents a change that is pushed to the remote repository. If you are not using version control on your computer, Configure version control to view project history in
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
.
  1. In the main toolbar of the open project, select
    View history
    .
  2. In
    Version history
    , select
    Select box
     to select a commit. The changes in the commit appear highlighted. If the project is new, all content for the project is highlighted.
  3. Expand a highlighted object to view the changes in the object.
    TIP: Values that change in an object are crossed out and an arrow points to the new value.
