Restore a project

If a project is corrupted or unwanted changes are saved, you can restore an earlier version of the project.
Ensure that the project is closed in the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
.
  1. From the
    %localappdata%\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Studio\Backups\[Project Name]
     folder, copy the entire folder of the desired backup.
  2. Replace the current project folder with the backup folder.
  3. Open the project and verify that it is restored successfully.
