Import fonts

You can configure your
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 to use custom fonts in
TTF
 or
OTF
 format. To use a font other than a default, import the font into the project to make it available as an object property.
TIP: If you use
FactoryTalk Optix Studio desktop editor
, instead of performing this procedure, you can copy custom
TTF
 or
OTF
 font files into the
ProjectName
\ProjectFiles\Font
 folder.
  1. In the main toolbar, select
    Browse project files
    .
  2. In
    Project Files
    , select
    Import file(s)
    .
  3. Navigate to and select the font to import and then select
    Open
    .
    Verify that the font selected for the project is available on the device and supports the required characters.
  4. Close
    Project Files
    .
The font is now available in the
Font family
 properties of objects.
