Edit a dynamic link

Edit a dynamic link in three ways. Either edit the dynamic link manually, select a new source, or drag a new source to the dynamic link in
Properties
.
  • To edit the dynamic link manually:
    1. In
      Properties
      , hover over a dynamic link and select
      Edit
      Edit
      .
    2. Edit the path and then press
      .
      TIP: You can edit Alias indexes.
  • To edit the dynamic link by selecting a new source:
    1. In
      Properties
      , hover over a dynamic link and select Add Dynamic Link.
    2. In the
      Dynamic Links
       browser, select a node to act as the source of the value property.
    3. (optional) To select a node attribute as the source, in
      Attribute
      , select an attribute.
      For example, select
      BrowseName
      ,
      Value
      , or
      DisplayName
      .
    4. (optional) If you select an array variable as the source, in
      Array Index
      , enter the index value of the variable to use.
    5. Click
      Select
      .
  • To edit the dynamic link by dragging a new source, drag the new source onto the existing dynamic link in
    Properties
    .
