Run mode change toolbar

The run mode change (RMC) toolbar includes buttons to start online editing, test, accept, cancel, and finalize changes. This global-scope toolbar is at the right side of the
FactoryTalk Design Workbench
 toolbar.

Enter RMC button icon.
Start online editing
Enter RMC mode.
Test RMC edits button icon
Test edits
Build the Program Organization Unit to identify errors and warnings.
Accept edits button icon in the RMC toolbar.
Accept edits
Accept the changes. To retain and review them the next time you connect to the controller, accept the changes before disconnecting.
Cancel edit button icon in the RMC toolbar.
Cancel edits
Cancel the changes you've made.
Finalize edit icon in the RMC toolbar.
Finalize edits
Download the changes to the controller without testing or accepting them.
