Hardware and software requirements

In the example project, an
Micro870
 L70E controller is used. You can use an
Micro820
 L20E or
Micro850
 L50E controller instead.
The example project requires the following hardware and software components:
  • FactoryTalk Design Workbench
  • Ethernet driver, which is optional
  • Micro870
     L70E controller (2080-L70E-24QBB)
  • 24-volt DC power supply (2080-PS120-240VAC or equivalent)
  • 2080-MEMBAK-RTC2 plug-in module
  • 2080-IF4 plug-in module
