LCD module overview

The 2080-LCD is an external text display that is optional for a
Micro810
 controller. The 2080-LCD contains a 1.5-inch LCD and a keypad. The 2080-LCD functions as:
  • A backup memory module for
    Micro810
     controllers.
  • A simple Human Machine Interface.
  • The configuration tool for the Smart Relay function blocks.
Configure the LCD module with one of the following methods:
  • Use the
    FactoryTalk Design Workbench
     software.
  • Use the main menu and LCD on the 2080-LCD module.
IMPORTANT:
The 2080-LCD module supports
FactoryTalk Design Workbench
 programs or Smart Relay function blocks.
  • If you download a program using
    FactoryTalk Design Workbench
    , the download process overwrites any Smart Relay function block instructions.
  • If you restore the Smart Relay functions using the main menu on the 2080-LCD module, the restore process overwrites the
    FactoryTalk Design Workbench
     program.
