Code Editor

Open the FactoryTalk Design Studio Code editor to edit the code of a FactoryTalk Smart Object , Add-On Instruction, program, or routine. To open the Code Editor, open a FactoryTalk Smart Object , Add-On Instruction, program, or routine and then select

Edit > Code Editor

TIP: Modifying FactoryTalk Smart Objects, Add-On Instructions, programs, and routines using the Code Editor may cause syntax errors and corrupt the file. Rockwell Automation recommends using the user interface to create or modify code.
