Install and Run FactoryTalk Alarms and Events - FactoryTalk DataMosaix Connector (Manual‑Console)

Perform the following steps to install
FactoryTalk Alarms and Events - FactoryTalk DataMosaix
 connector:
  1. Download the Installer
    Obtain the
    FactoryTalk Alarms and Events - FactoryTalk DataMosaix
     installer file (
    FTDataMosaix_Alarms and Events_Connector_1.00.00.exe
    ) from the Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC).
  2. Prepare the Files
    Place the downloaded installer and the
    config.yml
     file in the same folder.
  3. Open Command Prompt
    Navigate to the folder where the files are located and open
    Command Prompt (cmd)
    .
  4. Run the Installation Command
    Execute the following command:
    <path-to-your-folder> "FTDataMosaix_Alarms and Events_Connector_1.00.00.exe" "config.yml"
  5. Connector Initialization
    After running the command, the FactoryTalk Alarms and Events Extractor will start and perform the following actions:
    • Validate user authentication.
    • Upon successful authentication, connect to the specified application.
    • The data should come from both
      AllEvent
       and
      Diagnostics
      , and all events should be pushed into
      MainDataMosaix
      .
