Troubleshooting the Asset Framework (PI-AF) Extractor

  • Use a yml Lint site to validate your .yml file.
  • Look at the log file in the logging folder (as configured in the configuration file) for any error messages.
  • Double-check your PI server name and, if necessary, the username, and password. You might need quotes around username, password, and server name.
  • Double-check that all references to the dataset and pipeline IDs are correct.
  • Double-check that the client ID and secret in the on-prem configuration file is correct.
  • If you encounter the following error, it is likely due to an outdated version of your AFSDK:

    At the time of writing, you should have the version: PI AF Client 2018 SP3 Patch 3.
