Using a form to edit material properties

  1. On the
    Properties
     tab, select the record row to edit, and then click the
    Edit Property
     button. The
    Edit Material Class Property
     dialog box opens.

  2. Modify the material property as desired, and then click
    OK
    .
    IMPORTANT:
    If you are changing a value that contains a decimal, use the Delete key to delete the value before typing a new value that contains a decimal. If you type over the old value containing the decimal, the new decimal is not recognized by the application.
  3. Click
    Apply
     to save the changes, or click
    OK
     to save the record and close the dialog box.
    TIP:
    Changing a duplicate property that is assigned to other materials does not affect the other properties.
