Export product information and register on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website

You can export the product information to a CSV file to register your products on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website. Product registration helps you verify your products and manage all your critical Rockwell Automation products in one secure place.
To export the product information and register on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website
  1. On
    Lifecycle Information
    , select a container or an individual RAAI file in the asset tree view.
  2. Select
    Product registration
    .
  3. Select
    OK
    . The exported result is saved in the CSV format. You must use the valid file to complete the product registration.
    • A CSV file with the suffix
      valid
       includes all scanned devices that have either both
      Catalog Number
       and
      Warranty Number
      , or
      CIP Serial Number
      .
    • A CSV file with the suffix
      invalid
       includes all scanned devices that do not have the required information.
  4. Go to the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website and follow the on-screen steps to register your products with the exported CSV file. You can find the exported CSV file at
    C:\Users\<Signed-in User>\Downloads
