Update lifecycle information

Update the lifecycle information of assets in the FactoryTalk AssetCentre server with the Rockwell Automation lifecycle website. For best performance it is recommended to update the lifecycle information when other scheduled tasks are not being performed.
The FactoryTalk AssetCentre Server must have an internet connection to update the lifecycle information. If the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Server is in your company's intranet and cannot connect to the PCDC website, then you should configure a forward proxy or your firewall to permit access.
To update lifecycle information
  1. On
    Lifecycle Information
    , select a container or an individual RAAI file in the asset tree view.
    TIP:
    Select the parent container to update lifecycle information for all RAAI files in the parent container.
  2. Select
    Update lifecycle information
    .
  3. Once the update is complete, the lifecycle information is updated to the FactoryTalk AssetCentre database and the lifecycle status is updated.
