Deviation to Failure Risk Workflow

This workflow applies to new incoming deviations that have not yet been labeled within FactoryTalk Analytics GuardianAI. The application is designed to learn and recognize new failure modes. Once a user confirms and labels a deviation, any future occurrence of the same failure mode will be identified and surfaced as a failure risk.
Deviation to Failure Risk Workflow
When a new deviation is detected, FactoryTalk Analytics GuardianAI will have the following workflow:
  1. Deviation Detection:
    A deviation is detected by FactoryTalk Analytics GuardianAI, along with associated first principle recommendations.
  2. Deviation Labeling:
    The user selects one of the following options:
    • Accept the first principle recommendation.
    • Mark it as normal operation.
    • Create a new label for the deviation.

  3. Transition to Failure Risk:
    Once labeled, the deviation is classified as a failure risk.
  4. Resolution and Monitoring:
    The user should select and resolve the failure risk once the issue is fixed on the physical system.
    • If the issue is marked as resolved but continues to persist, FactoryTalk Analytics GuardianAI will re-surface the anomaly as a failure risk.
