Change Service Account

Under some situations, user may need to change the InfoPlatform’s service account from the setting made during the installation.
Perform the following steps:
  1. Open the Services Applet as an administrator from the Windows Administrative Tools applet.
  2. Open the properties of the
    FactoryTalk Analytics InfoPlatform Service
     and select the
    Log On
     tab.
  3. Select the
    This account
     radio option and enter the name and password of a user who has sufficient privileges to access the resources being used by the InfoPlatform services. These resources may include, for example, FactoryTalk Directory and/or Historians on remote computers.
