Blank Template

A Blank template allows User to create the desired charts to a blank Storyboard. Perform the following steps to create a Storyboard with Blank template:
  1. Click [Add Content].
  2. Select the Content type as Storyboard.
  3. Select the Blank Template from the list.
  4. Navigate to the desired folder where the connections are saved.
    NOTE: User can click [Add Connection] to create new connection.
    IMPORTANT: Ensure that the Connection and dataset is already created. To create Dataset, refer to ‘Create Dataset’ section in ‘

    ’.
  5. Select any Connection from the folder.
  6. Click the [] icon to expand and select the desired dataset from the list.
  7. Click [Add Content].
    IMPORTANT:
    User can click [] to navigate to previous page.
    Create Storyboard
    The Save Storyboard dialog displays.
  8. Provide the following details to enable the Save option:
    • Content Name:
       Provide the Storyboard Name.
    • Select Folder for Content:
       Select the folder for Storyboard to be saved.
    • Navigate to Content:
       Select the Content that the User will be able to navigate to. This will cause an association from the current Storyboard to the selected Content. Click the arrows in the bottom right corner to navigate to the linked Content.
      IMPORTANT:
      The select Source Time Zone option is not available for Blank template.
  9. Click [Save].

    A blank Storyboard displays, User can add the desired chart tiles.
    NOTE:
    Query parameter is not applicable for blank template.
  10. Click the [] icon, the Storyboard Preferences dialog displays.
  11. Click [New Chart Tile], a new chart tile is added to the Storyboard.

    Changes have been made to this Storyboard. The Storyboard will not be updated until it is saved.

  12. Click [Save] on the banner or click [Save Changes] to save the Storyboard.
