Configure Advisory

After adding the component, you have the option to edit the description of the diagnosis and recommendation if needed. Perform the following steps to edit the description and recommendation:
  1. After adding the component, select the
    Advisory
     tab.
    You can view the system-detected failure mode with a diagnosis report and recommended actions.
  2. Click on the required failure modes check box and click [Edit Recommendations].

  3. In the
    Edit Recommendations
     window, edit the recommendations field and click [Save].

    The "
    Failure mode was updated successfully
    " message displays.
If an advisory is not applicable, for example, if you are using an Asset that does not have predictive components, then no advisory is applicable and you can see the following screen:
