Use the

Pulse Width Modulation - PointX

view to configure the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for each output point on the 1756-OB16IEF digital devices. Controlling an output’s pulse train produces varying output intensities or speeds.

The Program and Fault mode states configured for the device always override any output state defined by the PWM parameters unless the Hold Last State is configured in Program or Fault. An output configured for PWM that is defined as Hold Last State continues to use PWM when a transition to Fault or Program occurs, including obeying any configured Cycle Limits.
