Display view parameters
Use the
Display
view to configure the display object. The parameters are available when the software is online, and there is no communication error in the device profile.For duplex devices, you can view the configurations for Module A and Module B. The displayed values become blank in these conditions:
- There is a device type mismatch.
- A timeout occurs while getting the identity from a device.
The
Display
view includes these parameters:Parameter | Description |

Enable LCD display of non-system messages | Select to allow all non-system messages to appear. This parameter is disabled if the device is in explicit protection mode. |
Display network configuration messages | Select to display network configuration messages. This parameter is available when Enable LCD display of non-system messages is selected.This parameter is disabled if the device is in explicit protection mode. |
Display uncategorized messages | Select to display uncategorized messages. Uncategorized messages include all messages not covered in the network configuration and non-system messages. This parameter is available when Enable LCD display of non-system messages is selected.This parameter is disabled if the device is in protection mode. |
Refresh | Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device. |
Set | Writes pending edits to the device. |
