MILWAUKEE, Wis., August 26, 2025 – Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced that system integrator Tri Tech Automation successfully brought a new cheese production facility online and on time using Rockwell’s unified power and process control solution.
New manufacturing projects offer a rare chance to deploy new technologies yet are often complex and schedule sensitive. In this case, Tri Tech was tasked with launching a new facility for a bulk cheese and whey ingredient producer under strict time and budget constraints. With multiple vendors managing various aspects of the project, the company needed a tightly integrated system to meet a firm start-up deadline.
“From the very start, the first milk delivery date was set making every day important throughout the life of the project,” said Ryan Williams, managing director, sales and marketing, Tri Tech Automation. “We acted fast to secure Rockwell’s configured-to-order solutions. By placing early orders with a strategic percentage of spares and using strategies like ordering all drive sized at top of frame, we had the flexibility to adapt on the fly without falling behind schedule.”
Tri Tech deployed Rockwell’s unified power and process control solution integrating motor control centers, variable frequency drives, I/O and process gateways on a single network. The solution consolidates disparate systems - including process control, safety, energy management and electrical - into one cohesive architecture. This unified approach provides real-time power and process control data for improved visibility, responsiveness and operational efficiency.
“These complex projects are where our solutions shine,” said Bruce Hall, director, solution design, North America, Rockwell Automation. “Our unified solution gives integrators like Tri Tech the tools they need to deliver real value to customers at every stage of development both immediately and long-term.”
Tri Tech Automation also identified gaps in the manufacturer’s operational technology (OT) network design, which serves as the backbone of the facility. Their comprehensive implementation established a digital backbone for current operations and future scalability.
The facility launched on schedule and is now fully operational. Tri Tech continues to provide remote support, helping the plant fine-tune operations, optimize production, and cut utility costs through enhanced real-time support.
