While the Automation Fair® event has evolved over 20 years, one thing remains constant: the way we collaborate with third-party companies is like no other automation supplier. The majority of exhibitors are third-party complementary product suppliers that are referenced through the EncompassTM Partner program. Many have been with us for more than 20 years (see sidebar). While there are many veterans, almost one-third of the Encompass exhibitors have joined the program in the past 5 years.
We've been on a journey to a Connected Enterprise for decades, and as technology and business challenges have driven the need for information sharing enterprise-wide, our PartnerNetwork capabilities have grown. As you visit exhibitors that have EtherNet/IPTM capability built into their devices, ask them which of their devices have Add On Profiles that help you quickly configure their products through Studio 5000®.
