Editing SFC Description command
Choose this command to edit the tag description.
A submenu with additional options is available when the following conditions are true:
- The Show Pass-Through Descriptions option is selected in the Workstation Options dialog box.
- An explicit description has not been found.
- A pass-through description has been found.
- A base tag description has been found.
Only the explicit description and pass-through description options are shown in the submenu if the conditions listed above are true except a base tag description has not been found and the Append to Base Tag Descriptions option in the Workstation Options dialog box is not checked.
No submenu is available when at least one of the following conditions is true:
- The Show Pass-Through Description is not checked in the Workstation Options dialog box.
- An explicit description has been found.
- A pass-through description has not been found.
- The item does not use pass-through (RLL or FBD).
The edit description option is unavailable when the RLL or FBD element's main operand is a task, program, routine, or any other operand that has a description that can not be edited.
