Fault/Program Action view parameters

The
Fault/Program Action
view includes these parameters:
TIP:
These parameters are not available in Run mode.
1734-IJ and 1734-IK
Parameter
Description
Reset Counter
Resets the counter.
Preset Counter
Sets the value of the counter as specified by the Preset words.
Reset Counter Value
Resets the value of the accumulated (stored) count.
1734-VHSC5 and 1734-VHSC24
Parameter
Description
Reset Counter
Resets the counter.
Preset Counter
Sets the value of the counter as specified by the Preset words.
Reset Counter Value
Resets the value of the accumulated (stored) count.
PWM Hold Last State
Retains the device’s output data in the last state.
PWM Hold Last State
is only enabled when the Counter Type in the
Counter
view is set to Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).
PWM Hold Last State
is disabled when:
  • The
    Type
    in the
    Counter
    view is not set to
    Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
    .
  • The controller is in Run mode.
Value
Value
is enabled in these conditions:
  • The
    PWM Hold Last State
    checkbox is cleared.
  • The
    Type
    in the
    Counter
    view is set to
    Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
    .
If these two conditions are present, enter a value from 0 through 95.00 for the PWM value.
Output
Displays the output to which this configuration applies.
Force Output
Turns the outputs on. Outputs are turned on only if the
Output Enable
checkbox is also selected. If the
Force Output
checkbox is not selected, outputs might be controlled by a compare match or as directed by the PWM settings.
Output Enable
Turns the outputs on from either a Force On, Force Output, a compare match, or as directed by the PWM setting. If the
Output Enable
checkbox is not selected, the device turns the output for the channel to Off.
Diagnostic Speed
Lets short circuit and open wire diagnostics filter at 50 ms to prevent nuisance trips caused by noisy environments. If the
Diagnostic Speed
checkbox is not selected, diagnostics respond to a fault condition in less than 8 ms.
Electronic Fuse Select
Disables outputs upon the detection of a fault condition (short circuit or open wire) and latches the output fault status indicator and Fuse Select.
To recover from a faulted state, clear the
Electronic Fuse Select
checkbox and select the
Output Enable
checkbox. After clearing the
Electronic Fuse Select
checkbox, a faulted output continues to operate as instructed until the fault is removed.
