Use the
Command source
tab of the
PVSD Properties
dialog box to:
  • Select Program, Operator, Operator Locked, External, or Maintenance as the source of commands and settings for the instruction.
  • Set In Service or Out of Service as the command source state. The instruction only accepts device commands and settings from the selected source when the state is In Service.
  • Select command source exceptions for the instruction commands and settings. By default, the commands and settings follow the current command source. Optionally, speed reference, start, and output datalink can be configured to only recognize Operator, Program, or External. Jog can be configured to only recognize Operator or External.
