Select Motor NV as the data source

The
Motor NV
 data source derives motor attributes from the nonvolatile memory of a motor-mounted smart feedback device that is equipped with a serial interface.
To select Motor NV as the data source:
  1. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , click
    Motor
    .
  2. In the
    Motor Device Specification
     area, in the
    Data Source
     list, click
    Motor NV
    .
  3. In the
    Units
    list, click the motor units that are associated with the motor.
    For a rotary motor, select
    Rev
    . For a linear motor, select
    Meter
    .
  4. Click
    Apply
    .
