Leave an Organization

An administrator or contributor can leave an organization or sub-organization. If you are an owner of the organization or sub-organization that you want to leave you need to transfer the ownership to another user. See Transfer Organization Ownership.
  1. TIP: When leaving an organization or sub-organization, only direct roles are removed. If you have roles assigned to a parent organization or other sub-organizations they remain unchanged.
    To leave an organization or sub-organization:
  2. From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, select
    Organizations
     or
    Sub-organizations
    .
  3. From the list, select the organization or sub-organization you want to leave and select .
  4. From the list, select
    Leave
    .
  5. In the pop-up dialog box that appears, select
    Leave
    .
    The direct roles in the organization or sub-organization you leave are removed. If you have direct roles in the parent organization, the access is not completely denied for a sub-organization. If you have direct roles in any sub-organizations, the access is not completely denied for their parent organization.
