View program parameter connections

View connections for program parameters in the Tag Editor and Connection Configuration dialogs.
TIP: Connections can also be viewed in the
Properties
pane: Go to
System

Execution Icon, or
Library
Library icon

  1. To view program parameter connections
  2. In the explorer bar, select
    System
    System Icon,
    Execution
    Execution Icon, or
    Library
    Library icon.
  3. Select an element to view its connections.
    • In
      System
      , select a program within a Smart Object.
    • In
      Execution
      , select a program within a controller application.
    • In
      Library
      , select a program within a Smart Object.
  4. In the explorer title bar, select
    View tags and parameters
    Tags Icon or right-click the element and select
    Tags and parameters
    .
  5. In the
    Tag Editor
    , locate the desired parameter and
    Connections
    column.
    The
    Connections
    column displays:
    • No information: No connections exist.
    • A parameter name: A connection exists with the named parameter.
    • {
      #
      :
      #
      } Connections: Multiple connections exist. The numbers indicate [number of connections to the parameter]:[number of connections to all submembers of the parameter].
  6. (optional) To view connection details in the
    Connection Configuration
    grid, select
    Browse
    Browse icon.
