Export an MCC lineup

Export an MCC lineup to use the lineup in the local installation of IntelliCENTER.
  1. Open or create a project that contains an MCC lineup.
  2. Select
    File > Export MCC lineup
    .
  3. In
    Export MCC Lineup
    , select
    Export
    .
  4. To download the zipped dataset to the
    Downloads
     folder on your computer, select
    Download
    .
  5. Download the
    update_dataset
     file.
  6. Copy the file to the original dataset folder.
  7. As an administrator, run the
    Update_dataset.exe
     executable.
  8. Select a location for the database and documentation:
    • If this is the first time you are installing the dataset on your computer, select
      Destination folder of Database files
      . This is the default.
    • If the lineup is already installed on your computer, select a new location for the database and documentation.
  9. Restart your computer.
  10. Launch IntelliCENTER version 6 to access the dataset containing the changes that you made in FactoryTalk Design Studio.
    TIP: You can also export an MCC lineup from:
    • IntelliCENTER Dashboard. Select select mcc lineup associated with the lineup to export and then select
      Export lineup
      .
    • IntelliCENTER
       explorer. Right-click the name of the MCC lineup or a select blank space within the explorer and then select
      Export MCC lineup
      .
    • Elevation
       view. Right-click a blank area in the view and then select
      Export MCC lineup
      .
