Pan trend chart data

Pan trend chart data to move backward and forward through the plotted data. Pan data backward to see past data, and pan data forward to return to more recent data in the trend chart. When data pans, the trend chart pauses. The most recent value in the panned data appears on the right side of the trend chart.

    TIP:
    Tips:
    • The HMI Designer determines if a button appears to interact with the trend chart on the HMI device.
    • To navigate to a specified time to pan the trend chart, select the item on the screen configured with the event. To identify the event, contact the HMI Designer.
    • Panning to current data uses the sample rate of the trend chart. Panning to historical data uses the sample rate of the data log for the project.
    • If there are multiple sets of data for the same time period in the data log, the trend chart plots only the most recent data for the time period. This occurs even if a previous set of data for the time period has more data than the most recent set of data.
    • If a graphic element has configured binding to pan to the start of the trend chart, select the graphic element. To identify the graphic element, contact the HMI Designer.
    • To use the HMI device keypad or an external keyboard to select a button on the trend chart, tab to the button and press
      Enter
      .
