Data log

A data log is a collection of data values from specified tags. Data logs export from the HMI device to an external device such as an SD card or an USB storage device. Exported data logs are .zip files that contain a .csv file for each data log in the project. Export a data log to view the data values on a computer.
Use a data log to:
  • View historical data for a specific duration.
  • Collect tag values at a specified sample rate.
  • Identify data patterns in a system.
  • Troubleshoot a system.
  • Provide data for audits.
