Set the date and time on the HMI device

The HMI device has a default date, time, and time zone. Change the values using the
Date and Time
 popup.
To set the date and time on the HMI device
  1. On the HMI device or in the
    System Banner
    , select
    Navigation
    Icon: NavigationMenuButton and then select
    Settings
    .
  2. Select
    Date and Time
    . The
    Date and Time
     popup opens.
  3. In the
    Date
    box,
    enter the month, day, and year in MM/DD/YYYY format and select
    OK
    .
  4. In the
    Time
    box,
    enter the hours, minutes, and seconds in HH:MM:SS format and select
    OK
    .
  5. In the
    Time Zone
     box, scroll to and select the time zone.
  6. Select
    Close
    Close button in Designer.
    TIP:
    PanelView
     5000 HMI devices contain a built-in database of all daylight savings time rules.
    PanelView
     5000 switches to daylight savings time automatically according to the selected time zone.
