Data log tab

How do I open the Data Log tab?
In the
Project Explorer
, expand the
Data Logs
folder and double-click a data log.
The
Data Log
 tab contains the open data log for the
View Designer
 project. The data log displays the tags added to the data log. Add a total of 250 tags for all data logs in a project.
Use the
Data Log
 tab to:
  • Change the interval at which the data log collects tag values.
  • Change how long the data log collects tag values.
  • Add tags to the data log using the
    Tag Browser
    .
  • Add a
    Status tag
     to the data log using the
    Tag Browser
    .
For example, add a data log to a project that records tag values for thirty seconds for a bottling line
View Designer
 project over the course of a week. Add a data log to the project, add the tags associated with the bottling line to the data log, set the sample rate to 30,000 milliseconds, and set the log duration to seven days.
