A data log collects tag values in the background when a project with a configured data log is running on the HMI device.

Sample Rate
of the data log in milliseconds. Specify how often the data log collects tags values once the
View Designer
project downloads to the HMI device.

The
Log Duration
of the data log. Specify how long the data log collects tag values when a project with a configured data log is running on the HMI device. Specify the log duration in hours, days, or minutes. Enter a valid log duration between 1 of any of the selected units and 365 days. 8760 hours and 525,600 minutes are both equivalents of 365 days.

The
Status tag
of the data log. Bind this property to a controller tag to display the status code of the data log in numeric format (DINT).

The tag with values to be logged. Each data log can collect values from up to 250 tags. All of the data logs in a project can have a combined maximum of 250 tags.

The name of the open data log and the tag count of the data log. This is the number of tags in the open data log. A data log can contain up to 250 tags. The combined data logs in a project can contain up to 250 tags.

The total number of tags. This number represents all of the data logs in the project. The combined data logs in a project can contain up to 250 tags.

The percentage of data log capacity used. This is the total size of all data logs in a project, compared to the maximum size supported. Data logs in a project can have a combined maximum of 250 tags. Each data log can have up to a 500 millisecond sample rate and a 365 day duration.
