Label a trace for diagnostic purposes

Label a trace to identify that trace in error messages. When a trace is in error, the error message in the
Error list
 displays the trace label and the name of the property placing the trace in error.
To label a trace for diagnostic purposes
  1. Select the trend chart on the screen.
  2. In the
    Properties
    window, select the
    Traces
    tab.
  3. Expand the
    Trace
    card of the trace.
  4. In the
    Label
    box, type a name for the trace.
