Install the SequenceManager Server Service and SequenceManager ActiveX Controls applications

  1. Access the Product Compatibility and Download Center to download the SequenceManager ActiveX Controls file.
  2. Double-click the SequenceManager ActiveX Controls file to begin the installation process.
    IMPORTANT: The user must have administrator privileges to install the application.
    • The SequenceManager Server Service application must be installedon a machine that has FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) HMIServer installed.
    • Install the SequenceManager ActiveX Controls on every machinethat will run the FactoryTalk View SE Editor or a FactoryTalk ViewSE Client.
    • The installation program provides the option to install theSequenceManager ActiveX Controls, the SequenceManager ServerService, or both.
    • The installation program opens the port in a Windows Firewall. If adifferent firewall is being used, the port must be opened for use.
    IMPORTANT: The specified port should not be used by other applications. Doing so could result in the controls not loading when the display is invoked. To check that the port number is valid, selectCheck.
