Back up project files to a memory card

Use the
Memory Card
 configuration page to back up L20E project files, data logs, or recipe files to a micro SD memory card. This backup ensures recovery from unexpected data loss.
Prerequisites
  • The controller is in
    Remote program
     mode.
  • A memory card is detected.
To back up project files to a memory card
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Memory Card
    .
  3. (optional) On the
    Memory Card
     configuration page, select Include variable values upon backup or restore as needed.
  4. Select
    Back up to the memory card
    .
  5. In
    Memory Card
    , select
    Back up
    .
