Add variables to a data set

Data logs contain data sets and record the data values of a defined set of variables that you added to the controller project. Use the
Data Log
 configuration page to add variables to a data set.
Prerequisites
  • The controller is offline.
To add variables to a data set
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Data log
    .
  3. On the
    Data Log
     configuration page, select an added data set to which you want to add the variables.
  4. Double-click
    Select variable
     or select Browse button to open the variable selector.
  5. In the variable selector, select the variable, and then select
    Select
    .
    TIP: To change the order of data set variables, drag the row headers of the variables to the desired place.
