Assign an alias name to a variable

An alias is an optional parameter that defines an alternative name for a global or local variable. Alias names must be unique within or across the
Name
and
Alias
columns.
To assign an alias name to a variable
  1. Open the global or local variable grid.
  2. Double-click the
    Alias
    cell of the variable, and then enter the alias name.
  3. Select
    Enter
    .
    TIP: If an alias name duplicates with an alias name or variable name, Error icon appears in the row header and the cell that contains the alias name.
