2080-DNET20 plug-in module
The 2080-DNET20 is a communication plug-in module that adds DeviceNet capability to the controller. L20E, L50E, and L70E controllers support the 2080-DNET20 plug-in module. The 2080-DNET20 plug-in module supports communication diagnostics for DeviceNet.
When using CIP messages instructions (MSG_CIPGENERIC) with the 2080-DNET plug-in module, the recommended timeout setting is five seconds.
After adding a 2080-DNET20 plug-in module, in

, a 2080-DNET20
node is created. Double-clicking the node opens the
2080-DNET20
overview page, which displays the device image, catalog number, revision, product type, and slot number. Selecting Device definition
opens the Device definition
dialog to change the slot and revision, and to configure whether to default the controller when the plug-in module is absent.Setting | Description |
