NTP Client view parameters
The
Network Time Protocol Client
view includes these parameters.

The information in the
Network Time Protocol Client
view is available only when the switch is online and NTP is enabled in the switch.Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Network Time Protocol (NTP) Enabled | When the switch is online, this value shows whether NTP is enabled on the switch. When the switch is offline, this value is blank. If the value shows Yes , the other parameters in the Network Time Protocol Client view show values or are enabled.If the value shows No or blank, the other parameters in the Network Time Protocol Client view show blank values or are disabled. |
Synchronized | Shows whether the switch clock is synchronized. |
System Poll Interval | Shows the system poll interval. The value is 8-12700 seconds. |
Current Time | Shows the current time on the switch. |
NTP Servers | |

NTP Server Address | Shows the NTP server addresses. |
Preferred Server | Specifies whether the NTP server is preferred and provides the synchronization. The available values are:

NTP Status | Shows the NTP status of the NTP servers. The available values are:

Stratum of Clock | Shows the stratum of clock, which indicates how many NTP hops away a device is from an authoritative time source. The value is from 0 through 16. |
Time Since Last Update | Shows the time since last update in seconds. |
Refresh | Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device. |
Set | Select to apply the changes made in the NTP Client view to the switch.This button is enabled only when changes are made in the NTP Client view. |
