Copy and paste with Paste Special
When configuring a motion group, you can copy an AXIS_CIP_DRIVE and associate a copy of the axis to one or multiple modules. This enables creating multiple axes with common configuration.
IMPORTANT:
Paste Special is valid when:
- The module is a CIP Motion Device.
- The module is not a CIP Motion Safety Track System
- The module/channel supports the Axis Configuration that is set by the clipboard.
- The module/channel is not currently associated with another axis.
- The axis is not managed. When an axis is associated to a robot, it might be managed, meaning some parameters are not configurable depending on the robot type. Refer to the specific robot documentation for a list of configurable parameters.
To copy and paste a motion axis using Paste Special:
- In theController Organizer, right-click the CIP axis and selectCopy.
- Right-click the motion group, the ungrouped axes folder, or a CIP motion module and selectPaste Special.
- FromModule Selection, select the modules/channels to paste the axis.TIP:Axes for iTrak modules can only be copy-pasted onto iTrak modules.
- SelectOK.
