Rehost an entitlement on Windows devices

Rehost a Runtime entitlement to another device if you have to replace the Runtime device.
  1. On the Runtime device, navigate to
    C:\Program Files\Rockwell Automation\EntitlementManager
    , where the Runtime Tools are installed.
  2. Double-click on the
    EntitlementManager.exe
     file.
  3. In
    Entitlement Manager
    , under
    Installed entitlements
    , select the entitlement that you wish to rehost.
  4. Select
    Rehost
    .
    TIP: To view the details of the entitlement, select
    Details
    .
  5. The entitlement is no longer activated for the Runtime device and can now be assigned to another device.
    NOTE: If a device becomes inoperable for any reason, you will not be able to perform the rehost procedure through the Entitlement Manager. Alternatively, you can contact the Technical Support team and ask for an entitlement key rehost.
