Create an instance of a tag type

When you import tag types, you can create instances of those tag types in the project.
Prerequisites
Import tag types from a controller. See Configure a communication driver.
  1. To create an instance of a tag type
  2. In
    Project view
    , right-click the
    Model
     folder or its subfolder.
  3. Select
    New
    Tag structures
    StationName
    TagTypeToInstantiate
    .
Tag instances display in the project model. Any synchronized changes to the imported tag types are reflected in these tag instances.
