Port | Port | TCP/IP port used to connect with the controller. The property has meaning only for Version 2.3 controllers; if using other controller versions the property will be disregarded. You can obtain the value from the CODESYS PLC Programming Environment: From the On line menu, select Communication Parameter. | |
Device Name / Address | PLCAddress | The CODESYS Controller Device Name or its IP address. The IP address can refer to the same machine that runs the driver using the local IP address or localhost. | |
Endianness | Endianness | Byte ordering in accordance with the architecture of the processor with which the communication is established. | |
Login to PLC | LoginToPlc | Default value: False. Some special devices can require or not a login on the PLC. Leave the default value if not specified othervice in the device documentation. | |
Protocol | Protocol | Default value: TCP IP L2 ROUTED. Available values: TCP IP L2 ROUTED, TCP IP L2, TCP IP L4. Some devices may require a special communication protocol. Leave the default value if not otherwise specified in the device documentation. | |
Communication Buffer Size | CommunicationBufferSize | Communication buffer dimension. Valid only for 2.3 controllers version. Default value: 0, which means automatic management. On the target, verify the correct setting. | |
