Our Bulletin 5069 Compact 5000™ I/O modules provide high-performance control in a compact design, and expand the performance capabilities of the Logix platform. They are the local I/O modules in a CompactLogix™ 5380, or Compact GuardLogix® 5380 and safety options are available. These modules are the ideal distributed I/O solution on an EtherNet/IP network for CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix® 5380, ControlLogix® 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers with safety module restrictions. They are great for applications with high-processing requirements.

  • Downsizing from current 1769 architecture
  • Tactile Press switch function to control group A or B indicators for easy reference during commissioning

Compact 5000 I/O Standard Modules

  • Are available in high-speed counter, digital input, digital output, analog input, analog output, AC input, AC output, isolated and non-isolated relay output, address reserve modules, and field potential distributor
  • Function as local I/O in a CompactLogix™ 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 control system or as distributed I/O accessible via a 5069-AEN2TR or 5069-AENTR over an EtherNet/IP network for CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers
  • Provide field-side power to field-side devices that are connected to some Compact 5000 I/O modules

Compact 5000 I/O EtherNet/IP Communication Modules

  • Support up to 31 I/O modules
  • Provide separate system power for better isolation and built-in power input with field power to I/O modules
  • Support distributed I/O modules via an EtherNet/IP network for CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers
  • Support 1 Gb embedded switch technology for Linear and Device Level Ring topologies
  • Provide high-speed backplane communications for faster transfer rates
  • Provide improved status indicators to monitor and troubleshoot systems
  • Use the slim 5069-AENTR for small space requirements

Compact 5000 I/O Safety Modules

  • Provide a local safety connectivity to the Compact GuardLogix 5380
  • Provide distributed I/O to the Compact GuardLogix 5380 and GuardLogix 5580, which is accessible via a 5069-AEN2TR or 5069-AENTR over an EtherNet/IP
  • Support up to 31 I/O modules per controller or adapter
  • Provide faster safety reaction time
