Set Minimum Values for Standard Task Watchdog Time

To set the initial task tuning of the controller, follow these steps.
IMPORTANT:
This process works only when there is no Continuous task that is configured in the Logix application.
While performing these tests, the HMI and any other external systems must be connected to the Logix controller and actively executing communications.
  1. Monitor the Max Scan Time for each task while the redundant chassis pair is synchronized.
  2. Set the watchdog times for each task to three times the max scan time or 50 ms, whichever is greater.
  3. Configure each task period by using the L_CPU Add-On Instruction.
