Methods to Set the IP Address

The controller supports the following methods to change the IP address:
  • BootP/DHCP EtherNet/IP Commissioning Tool
  • FactoryTalk® Linx
     software
  • Studio 5000 Logix Designer®
    application

IMPORTANT:
The
EtherNet/IP™
 mode in which the controller operates affects the setting and use of IP addresses on the controller. For example, if the controller operates in Dual-IP mode, you must set an IP address for each controller Ethernet port. That is, you must complete the steps that are described in this section twice–once for each port.
